Tropica A/S is expanding

Tropica A/S is building a new nursery at Egaa near Aarhus (Denmark) as part of a well-defined growth strategy. This initiative will give Tropica A/S the capacity to expand its market position and so create the basis for satisfying future demand.

Tropica is one of the world's leading producers of aquatic plants for aquarium use and exports to more than 40 countries around the globe. The company has more than 35 years of experience in the industry and is well known for its excellent quality and attractive product range.

"This is the first step in the long-term development of Tropica. Development that, as well as bringing new plants every year, will also include a range of products to complement Tropica aquatic plants," says Lars Green, who joined the company as General Manager on 1 October 2005. Lars Green has many years of experience of selling to chains and retailers in Europe, so he has been put in charge of the growth the company wants to achieve in the years ahead.
