IPPCA Modifies Name

The International Professional Pond Contractors Association will change its name to the International Professional Pond Companies Association on Jan. 1, 2011. The acronym, IPPCA, will remain the same.

The name change "more fully reflects the all inclusive nature of the association, its membership and its mission statement," IPPCA said in a statement today.

The trade association, based in Woodstock, Ga., is entering its seventh year of supporting the pond and waterscape industry.

The IPPCA is host to many events and programs, including Info Tanza, Ponditat for Humanity, the Certified Wildlife Ponditat program, a Legislative Action Team and a Pond Hobbyists Hotline.
