The UK-based retailer Pets at Home plans to build a £15 million (USD24.5 mln, or EUR 15.6 mln) web sales operation over the next two years with the appointment of Matthew Stead to the new post of Multichannel Director. Pets at Home launched its internet sales operation over a year ago and now offers 2,500 food items and accessories on the site. Chief Executive Matt Davies said aimed to add 1,000 products to its website over the next two years. 'We want to build a significant multi-channel business and have recruited Matt to do that,' said Davies.
