Mondi Consumer Flexibles expands production in Hungary

The packaging manufacturer Mondi Consumer Flexibles has almost doubled the size of its production plant in Bekescsaba, Hungary. The new construction comprises a production hall covering nearly 2 500 m², with a new curing room and a 1 500 m² warehouse for cylinders. Mondi Consumer Flexibles intends to use the extensions to the production plant to increase production capacity considerably, in order to be able to better meet the growing demand in eastern Europe for reclosable bags for dry pet food and also for food and the non-food industry.
