Suzy's philosophy

Founded in 1980, Suzy's is a family company which specializes in the manufacture of fashion and bedding products for dogs. Suzy's makes truly everything for dogs from bows to jackets and from cushion to travel bags.

It is Suzy's philosophy that not only must its products be of genuinely high quality so that the consumer will enjoy using the product, but they must also be good for the dog itself and the quality of its coat. For this reason, it uses as many natural materials as possible or synthetic fabrics which absorb moisture and are also hypoallergenic.

As a family company, Suzy's works together closely with the importers and retail chains in order to be able to consult closely with them and establish a basis for pleasant collaboration so that it can create a range of dog fashion and bedding tailor-made for every customer.

Tailor-mode products

Suzy's own existing range serves as the starting point. Naturally the customer may also choose products from this range, however many customers elect to sell these products under their own label. Of course these private label products must also be unique with regard to products which other suppliers operating in their own local market are offering. This is why the partnership with the customer is so important, making it possible to arrive at specific designs, practical solutions and a distinctive use of fabrics and colours in close, pleasant consultation with the customer. Naturally the use of colour is geared toward the consumer preferences in the different countries. After all, the preferences of consumers in Southern Europe are based more on fresh, bright colours while in Northern Europe, the calmer and more austere colours are the order of the day.

Suzy's range of products serves as a starting point for the tailor-made products as well. On the basis of this range, Suzy's discusses the customer's specific wishes with them. Once it becomes clear what the customer's wishes are in terms of the design, fabric and use of colour, the design department at Suzy's gets to work.

The newly designed products are always first tested for quality and durability before they are put into final production.

Suzy's is able to realise this type of partnership partly due to the fact that the company has the entire process in its own hands, from design to manufacture.

Regularly varying range

The advantage of working with Suzy's is that both the products under Suzy's own label as well as the private label products may be purchased in relatively small quantities. As a result, the customer is at less of a risk of having too much stock remaining in its warehouse, and can first test which products will sell well in its own market without having to invest in large inventories first. This means that the range may also be varied on a regular basis allowing trends in the market to be taken advantage of much more easily.
