Hornbach is opening its eighth store in Romania today, July 15. It is located in Cluj-Napoca, a city with more than 330 000 inhabitants in the northwest of the country. The new store has a sales area of around 23 000 m². For the garden and pet department an area of 5 200 m² has been reserved, while the drive-in has 6 900 m².
Hornbach has invested around 27 mio euros in the new location. "We have firmly planned further growth in the country and are already in preparations for a large DIY and garden centre in the Black Sea metropolis of Constanța," announced Jan Hornbach, international managing .
