Pets at Home, the UK's leading pet care business, is pleased to announce the appointment of William Hewish as chief information officer (CIO). According to a press release, William Hewish has a wealth of experience and joins Pets at Home from United Utilities, where he spent the last six years leading the technology, data and business change teams. He has previously had senior technology roles in companies such as Lloyds Pharmacy, DeVere Hotels and Booker.
The CIO position is a new role for Pets at Home and is intended to help Pets at Home deliver on the strategic IT needs of the whole group well into the future. William Hewish will report to Peter Pritchard, Pets at Home Group CEO.
