Pets at Japan Gardex/Extepo garden fair

The Japanese trade show Gardex/Extepo (International Garden Expo Tokyo/International Outdoor Living & Building Products Expo) is giving exhibitors from the pet sector their own exhibition zone for the first time. The new fair segment is being developed with the support of the Japan Pet Products Manufacturers Association.

Around 30 000 visitors are expected at the fair, which runs from 9 to 11 October at the Makuhari Messe complex. The organiser, Reed Exhibitions, expects a record number of exhibitors too, with over 310 companies attending. Many foreign exhibitors are reported to be exhibiting together in country pavilions. Companies from Sri Lanka, for example, will organise a joint presentation.
