Scholtus completes acquisition of Proline Petfood

Scholtus Special Products B.V., a leading European manufacturer of semi moist cat and dog treats and GH Prins & Zonen B.V., announce that Scholtus has acquired from GH Prins its Proline Petfood business unit, the #1 supplier of 100% natural chewing snacks for dogs.

The acquisition of Proline Petfood expands the Scholtus product range and further enhances its ability to serve its clients with innovative high-quality products. Starting in January 2012 Proline will operate from Scholtus' production facilities in Renswoude, the Netherlands. Martien van Bohemen, Managing Director of GH Prins joins the Scholtus Executive Team as the Marketing & Sales Director of the combined company as of today.
