Fressnapf Austria on course for success

The Austrian branch of Europe's biggest pet supplies chain took € 110 mio in sales in 2010, an increase of 11 per cent compared with the previous year. It opened its 100th store in Traun at the beginning of March, an event that the Salzburg-based Fressnapf Austria marked with a major campaign. "Expansion in Austria will continue in 2011 with the opening of ten new stores. The rapid pace of expansion is to be maintained in the next few years," said Heidi Obermeier, managing director of Fressnapf Austria.
