Nestlé exceeds 2009 sales forecast

Nestlé expects higher sales growth this year after beating 2009 forecasts through strong growth in North America and developing markets helped by lower commodity prices, according to Reuters.

Nestlé saw an estimated 4.1% growth in underlying sales last year, ahead of the forecasted 3.9%.
